Our guest, forensic psychiatrist John Liebert, MD, is a specialist in dealing with the homicidally insane. He evaluated Ted Bundy and the Riverman Gary Ridgway. He has consulted on the Atlanta Child Murders cases and has written about serial killers Jeffrey Dahmer and John Wayne Gacy.
His recent book, along with co-host William Birnes, J.D., Suicidal Mass Murderers: A Criminological Study of Why They Kill (Taylor and Francis, 2011) deals with the 2007 mass shooting at Virginia Tech University, the largest school shooting in American history. In his final chapter, Dr. Liebert reveals another side to the 2011 Anthrax attacks, providing evidence that the 9-11 hijackers had weaponized Anthrax in their possession in south Florida six months before the attacks.
Could this have been the real Plan A for 9-11, a biological attack on the United States from a crop-duster spreading Anthrax? This is a chilling book, about which former detective and head of the Ted Bundy task force in Seattle, Bob Keppel, has said: โThis is the definitive book on mass murderers โฆ Dr. Liebertโs work in forensic psychiatry is second to none.โ
The Show: Dr. John Liebert is one of this countryโs most respected forensic neuropsychiatrists. His experience has ranged from the very beginningโs of the CIAโs MK-Ultra program, when he was a young medical student in Canada, to his clinical research on suicidal mass murderers and serial killers.
On the show, Dr. Liebert, Billโs writing partner and coauthor of the Taylor and Francis Group Suicidal Mass Murderers, A Criminological Study of Why they Kill (2011), talked very chillingly about some of the early MK-Ultra experiments on mind control, memory manipulation, and conditioning โ think Manchurian Candidate โ and the Agencyโs rationale behind it.
He and Bill speculated about why the increase in serial murder and mass murder cases from the 1950s, and then Dr. Liebert opened up the big can of worms concerning the 2001 anthrax scare and how the hijackers of Flight 93 were traveling around south Florida with a suitcase of anthrax. What happened to that suitcase?
Is the FBI hiding something by blaming the entire case on the deceased Bruce Ivins and then closing the case so as to let any terrorist sleeper cells think that they are safe to try another attack? Whatโs really going on? Listen in and decide for yourself. ๐
